Citizen's handbook · September 2026 edition
How life works in the city
Everything you need to get around: keys, commands and how each system works, with screenshots taken inside. It is meant to be read in pieces: find the chapter you need in the index.
Chapter 01
Getting started
Open FiveM, press F8 and type connect play.sfrp.net. The first time it downloads the maps (a few hundred MB): let it finish. After the loading screen you pick or create a character.

/reintentar.
/editarhud moves the plates and changes their size; /hud hides and shows it. Saved on your PC.Day-one basics
- F1 phone · F2 inventory · Tab hotbar (1–5 use each slot).
- E interacts with everything: job points, shops, banks, garages, NPCs, ATMs.
- Z cycles your voice range (whisper / normal / shout). Voice is proximity-based: people far away cannot hear you.
- Left Alt talks on the radio, if you carry one.
- F6 opens the radial action menu: the basics for everyone (hands up, drop to the ground, carry someone, accessories, keys, seatbelt, invoices, report) plus the actions of your job and your organization.
- Cash is lost when you die; bank money is not. ATMs and banks on the map work with E.

Chapter 03
Commands
Typed in the chat (T). Command names are in Spanish; most of them also have a key or a spot on the map. The command is the long way round, for when the key is taken.

/facturas | My invoices (also F5). |
/llaves | My vehicle keys, and give a copy to whoever is next to you. /darllave does it directly. |
/ganzua | Pick the lock of the vehicle next to you (needs a lockpick). /puentear hotwires an already-open car: another lockpick. |

/reintentar | Back to character selection if you got stuck on the way in. /relog switches character. |
/toggleChat | Hide or show the chat. It only appears when there is activity and fades on its own. |
Chapter 04
Jobs and businesses
You can hold several jobs at once, but only one is active. The active one pays wages, opens its points on the map and shows its actions in F6. Pick it with /trabajos; you start off duty and clock in at the business's own point.

/trabajosYour jobs with rank and wage per payout. Activate, quit. Below, your organization.

If you own or run a business
Every business has a management point. The whole company is run from there; no commands needed.

Invoices

Chapter 05
Vehicles
- K starts and stops the engine, L locks and unlocks, H headlights, M seatbelt, F9 glovebox or trunk. All of it needs a key: the owner's, or a copy given to you with
/llaves. /asiento(or F6 → Basics) to change seat without getting out. With the seatbelt on you cannot move, and the driver only leaves the wheel with the car stopped.- Without a seatbelt, a hard stop throws you through the windshield. The car radio is off: music is something you bring to the scene yourself.
- Police, EMS and mechanics open any locked vehicle with E. Everyone else needs a lockpick.
Without a key

Garage and impound

If your vehicle is seized it goes to the impound. From the garage you can get it back by paying double the fee, without waiting for anyone.

Chapter 06
Health and death
- Wounded on the floor: G calls for help (it reaches the EMS dispatch). Next to an infirmary, H asks to be healed right there.
- If there are no medics online, the hospital's duty doctor heals you for a fee paid from the bank; a downed player is revived by a friend carrying them to the point.
- A wounded person can be carried (
/cargar, over the shoulder or dragged), put in a wheelchair, laid on a stretcher or put in a car. G gets you off if you are conscious. - Hunger and thirst lower your health. Buy food and water at any 24/7.
- Dying loses your cash, not your bank. Every death is logged with who, which weapon and from how far.

Chapter 07
Organizations and turf
An organization (gang, crime family, whatever) is independent from your job: you can be in one and hold a legal job at the same time. Organizations are whitelisted and requested on Discord.

The tablet (O or /orga)

/territorios shows it to anyone.Organizations also have their own actions in F6 (tie up, escort, search, put in a car or in the trunk), graffiti with /grafiti and their own doors.
Chapter 08
The illegal side
All of this is roleplay: the police may be watching, and every dirty-money movement is logged.
Drugs, with cocaine as the example

Car theft by contract

/boost if you have access.Chapter 09
Families and papers
Everything happens at the Civil Registry in City Hall, with E in front of the clerk. Requests (an invitation, a marriage) reach the other person on screen and they accept with Y.

/f message is the family chat. Like every chat, your character reads it: what gets arranged on Discord did not happen in the city.
Chapter 10
Tasks and progress

Chapter 11
Clothes, emotes and voice

- J takes off or puts on hat, glasses, mask and bag without visiting a store. Barbershops on the map change hair, beard and makeup (E in the shop, or
/peluqueria). - F4 opens the emote menu;
/e nameplays one directly; favourites go on the numpad. Right Ctrl crawls, B points,/tirarsedrops you to the ground, X raises your hands (and you can be searched without cuffs). - Voice is proximity-based and Z picks whisper, normal or shout. The radio (Left Alt) needs the item in your inventory; channels change with ← →.
Chapter 12
When something breaks
- I entered a building and there is no floor, or the elevator left me in mid-air:
/arreglarmapa. It reloads the interior and the collision. If you fall off the map it runs on its own. - An NPC or an object vanished when I walked into a shop: step out and back in; it is recreated when you cross the door.
- I am stuck on character selection:
/reintentar. - A key does nothing, or does something else: Esc → Settings → Key Bindings → FiveM and look for it by its Spanish name. If two things share a key, change one there.
- The chat is not showing: it only appears when there is activity and fades.
/toggleChatpins it. - I found a bug or someone crossed the line:
/reportarwith a clear sentence. Exploiting a bug is a ban; reporting it is appreciated. Bans are appealed on Discord.
