Sanctions guide · October 2026 edition

What happens if you break a rule

This is the practical guide: what gets sanctioned, with examples of what is an offence and what is not, what a first time usually costs and what to report. The authority is the rulebook: if this guide and the rulebook disagree, the rulebook wins (section 9).

The city speaks Spanish. This is a translation; the Spanish rulebook is the one that applies. Sanctions are out of character: staff decide them with the server logs, according to harm and repetition. The figures here are a guide, not a fixed price list. Unknown terms are in the glossary.

Chapter 01

The scale

Five levels, from lightest to heaviest. Staff start at the level the offence deserves: a serious offence can go straight to a ban.

  1. Warning. Minor offences or a first time with no harm to anyone. It is logged.
  2. Kick. Removes you from the server on the spot to stop an offence that keeps going or a warning that was ignored. You can join again. Moderators can apply it too.
  3. Admin jail. Roleplay offences that harm others or repeat. From 30 minutes to several hours, and the clock only runs while you are online.
  4. Temporary ban. Serious offences or repeat offending. From 1 to 30 days without being able to join.
  5. Permanent ban. Cheats and menus, getting money or items through bugs, rule 3.3, discrimination or serious harassment, chargebacks, evading a sanction and impersonating staff.

What happens on its own, with nobody deciding

  • The anticheat bans automatically and permanently when it detects cheats, menus, external programs or weapons that are not in your inventory (rule 9.6).
  • When you connect, the server rejects you if you use a VPN or proxy, if your Discord account is younger than 14 days or if you have modified game files (the server runs in pure mode). It is not a sanction: you don't get in until you remove it (rule 2.8.4 and rule 2.8.5).

Chapter 02

Offence by offence

Each row gives the rule, an example of what is that offence and one of what is not, what a first time usually costs and what it costs if you repeat it. On a phone, swipe the table sideways.

Chapter 03

What to report and what not

Reports are for when someone broke a rule. Losing inside the roleplay is not an offence: it is part of the story.

Report it

  • RDM, VDM, or someone going back to the scene where they died (NLR).
  • Metagaming and stream sniping.
  • Cheats, menus, or someone pulling weapons out of nowhere.
  • Game bugs someone is exploiting, and the ones you find yourself.
  • Logging off to get out of a scene.
  • Harassment, insults or discrimination against the real person, and anything in section 3.
  • Police or medics using their job outside roleplay.
  • Someone offering to buy or sell anything for real money, or claiming to be staff.

Don't report it: solve it in roleplay

  • Losing a robbery or mugging that had its roleplay.
  • The police arresting you, fining you or taking what is illegal.
  • Getting killed in a scene with a story: a conflict, a threat, a warning.
  • Your own gang betraying you (rule 7.5.6).
  • Another organization declaring war on you with a roleplay reason.
  • A character insulting or threatening you inside the scene.
  • A sentence you disagree with: that is what asking for a trial is for (rule 6.4.4).

Chapter 04

How to report and appeal

  • Finish the scene first (rule 2.12). You don't stop a robbery to argue. The exceptions are cheats, a serious bug and anything in section 3: those are reported on the spot.
  • In game: /reportar (also from the pause menu, under "Reportar"). Pick the category: Otro jugador (another player), Error del servidor (server bug), Necesito ayuda (I need help) or Otra cosa (something else), and write one clear sentence: who, what and where.
  • By ticket: on Discord, in #open-ticket, with evidence. A clip is worth more than any explanation: record and keep the last few minutes. Section 3 reports can be made privately and have high priority (rule 9.5).
  • Don't report out of revenge. A knowingly false report is sanctioned like trolling (rule 9.9).
  • Appeals: by ticket in #open-ticket, within 7 days. Someone on staff who did not sanction you reviews it (rule 9.3). Anticheat bans are appealed the same way. Arguing in public adds nothing.
  • Staff are logged too. If someone on staff oversteps, report them and someone else reviews it (rule 9.4).
